Cast your vote: Webb, Clattenburg the early leaders in poll for worst EPL referee

Help us determine the identity of the EPL’s worst referee in the poll below.
With our football-hungry appetites now sated after the first days of English Premier League action in the books, its time for the launch our new poll for worst referee in the EPL. While Howard Webb remains a strong favourite to repeat in the 2013-14 season after winning last year’s inaugural poll in - our first year at RedCardTheRef - two EPL coaches would be certain to cast different votes after Week 1 action was completed over the weekend.
Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger were the first to take shots at our men in black in their post-game comments after some controversial refereeing decisions.
Holloway was the first of the season to be charged under the FA for his conduct towards referee Mark Clattenburg during his team’s 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur.
Holloway was enraged with Clattenburg and his team of officials who failed to spot a deliberate foul by Spurs Nacer Chadli on Stephen Dobbie shortly before a penalty kick was awarded to Tottenham.

“If the referee didn’t see that the assistant should have. I don’t see how he can miss it,” Holloway told BBC. “It’s going to be a long hard season for me with these [referees]. I had this with Blackpool. Certain clubs get fouls and others don’t. Tottenham will feel that when they play Manchester United.”

Halloway blasted Clattenburg in his post-match comments.

CONTROVERSY AT THE EMIRATES
An under-fire Wenger couldn’t contain his disappointment with a controversial penalty kick decision awarded to Aston Villa by referee Anthony Taylor in their 3-1 win at The Emirates on Saturday.
“I’m unhappy with the spirit the referee let the game [go in], I was quite amazed,” Wenger said. “But it’s not my job to talk too much about that, I have to take care of the team and, despite that, we could have won the game.”

MOURINHO-LAMBERT GO TOE-TO-TOE IN WEEK 2 SIDELINE SPAT
Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho took centre stage Wednesday in the closing moments of the Blues 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge.
A brutal Ivanovic elbow to the head of Villa forward Christian Benteke was only punished with a yellow card by referee Kevin Friend. To add insult to injury for Lambert and the Villans, Ivanovic emerged from the scuffle to score the eventual winner for Chelsea moments later.
But what really pushed Lambert over the edge was a deliberate and unpunished hand ball by Chelsea defender John Terry in injury time as Villa pushed for the late equalizer.
Lambert and Mourinho became involved in sideline spat with the fourth official caught between them.
After the match Mourinho couldn’t hold back his displeasure with his coaching opponent’s conduct.
“He [Lambert] reminds me of myself 10 years ago when I was complaining about every decision when I want to coach my team and at the same time I want to have a whistle on my lip. He is the same,” said Mourinho.
The two cold face punishment from the F.A., not for their post-match comments but for leaving the coaches box to argue with the fourth official and each other during the closing moments of the match.
